How do I know what gluten free ingredients are used in your products?
All products that are mixed and baked in our kitchen start with gluten free ingredients. We use gluten-free soya sauce in our products. Some of generic spices and condiments (sugar, salt, vanilla extract, pecans, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, dried fruits, butter or milk) are naturally free from gluten. We recognize that there is some possibility of cross-contamination from these products, especially if they were packaged in a regular production facility, hence we always disclose to our customers what goes into our bakes.
Are your products lactose-free?
Not all of them. Some products contain butter, cheese, or other ingredients that might contain traces of milk. If you are lactose intolerant or support a vegan lifestyle, please make a special request with your order and we will bake your order with lactose-free ingredients.
How do I know the allergen information in your bakes?
We use fresh and natural ingredients that you can easily pronounce. We are always open about what we put in our bakes – please click on a specific product on our website and you will see ingredients used to bake it. For more detailed information about our bakes, please make a specific inquiry.
What do you use to replace eggs and dairy products?
We replace eggs with dates or fruit puree, flax seeds, or egg replacer. To replace regular dairy, we use soy milk, rice milk, coconut milk, or almond milk.
What do you use as a sweetener?
Our bakes are low in sugar. We use low- or no-sugar ingredients, such as sugar-free chocolate for our brownies.

How do I order products from BakeHour?

What delivery options are available?
We can deliver your order anywhere in Singapore by using any major delivery company, such as LaLaMove. Alternatively, you can come by at our shop to pick up your order at your convenience.
How long does it take to receive my order?
We recommend to place your order 1-2 days in advance as we use fresh ingredients only and our bakes do not contain preservative.
Enjoying Your Freshly Baked Items
How long can I keep your bakes?
Although we recommend our bakes to be consumed fresh, you keep our bakes in the fridge for 5-7 days. You can also freeze our bakes individually wrapped for 1-2 months. Then you will need to de-frost and warm up our bakes, using a microwave.
Are there any special instructions for enjoying your bakes?
We recommend to enjoy our bakes while they are still fresh and fluffy. If you prefer a hot bread, we recommend to microwave our bakes on medium setting for 30-45 seconds, while leaving a cup of water in a microwave. Don’t forget to follow the microwave safety instructions.

About Our Bakery
Is your kitchen completely gluten free?
Yes, our kitchen is completely gluten free. We don’t use any wheat, rye, barley, or regular oat flour. Neither do we bring any bakery items from the outside, nor we cook any food in our facility. For example, we don’t allow any staple food such as noodles or sandwiches to be brought into our facilities. Any items that we use to showcase our bakes, for example, sardines in olive oil or olives are naturally free from gluten.
